Naomi Nubin-Sellers

Welcome! Naomi Nubin-Sellers is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Political Science. Her broad research largely centers on how state institutions react to racial diversity through policy-making. She specifically investigates the impact of racial diversity on policy outcomes and analyze the effects of policy and political feedback that arise from these intricate interactions. Most recently, the Mercatus Center at George Mason University awarded her an Elinor Ostrom Political Economy Fellowship for 2022-2023 and a Visiting Dissertation Fellowship for 2023-2024. In addition, she was awarded the 2023-2024 JoAnn Gibson-Robinson Dissertation Writing Award from the Association for the Study of Black Women in Politics (ASBWP). She currently serves on the National Conference of Black Political Scientists executive council as the graduate student representative. I look forward to connecting with you!
