The Album
Negritude’s production channels over 40+ historical giants. The overall production is ritualistic; it’s a rebellion, a reckoning! 1.“Fire & Ice” was born from the collision of two truths: the burning rage of generations unheard and the cold silence of histories erased. It’s the dance between resistance and reflection, pain and power; an ancestral fury laced with sacred stillness. 2. “Where Are the Reparations?” resonates across time, connecting centuries of injustices with a demand for accountability, truth, and repair. The production moves through revolutionary scenes from various eras, invoking historical figures and moments. 3. “Still We Rise” documents the March on Washington (1963) and the Selma to Montgomery marches (1965). Both, were pivotal moments in the Civil Rights Movement, and tying them together through the voices of the ancestors. 4. The “Ghost of Marcus Garvey” production is a raw, vivid, and emotionally resonant piece that weaves through his Jamaican beginnings, his impact on U.S. history, and the Black Star Liner. 5. The titled track “Negritude” is not just a title. It’s a self-acclaimed professional empowerment; a declaration of identity that embodies my ancestral mission. 6. “Freedom Fighters” is the perfect ending to the body of work, that’s not just an album — that’s a movement carved into rhythm. The recording channels thirty-seven (37) freedom fighters. It’s not just an album; it’s a book and a film. Staytuned for the Book and Album release
