Nehir Onay

Nehir Onay, an acclaimed filmmaker from Turkey now based in Miami, is a distinguished alumnus of the CCNY Film MFA program. Her NYWIFT-honored documentary, "Sur Les Pointes," received top accolades at the Cannes Short Film Festival in 2020. Meanwhile, her thesis project, a beautifully meditated love letter partially funded by the Ostrovsky Family, uplifts and celebrates New York City's art, architecture, and culture while exploring the life of America's first supermodel, Audrey Munson. With a proven track record in budget management and team collaboration, Nehir's recent projects include "Bezos: The Beginning" (2023) and The Tryout (2024).
