Palette d'Odette

Hi, I'm Jackie Odette and I love to create colourful and vibrant art to bring joy into people's lives. I paint in acrylics, gouache and acrylic inks. I was born in the South of France, in Provence, before coming to Australia with my family when I was young. So many artists of the 19th and 20th century were drawn to this beautiful part of the world because of its lush, colorful landscapes and centuries-old villages scattered all over the region. This is where I developed my love of art. I have always had a sketchbook, pencil or paintbrush ready in hand to capture fleeting moments of life as I interpret what I feel and see. My art is often vibrant and colourful bringing joy into my life. After a long and fulfilling career in education, I am now a full-time artist finally able to create art that I can share with the world. I welcome you to visit my world of art!
