Paul J. Nini

Paul J. Nini is an Emeritus Professor and past Chairperson in the Department of Design at The Ohio State University, where he has also acted as Graduate Studies Chair, and Coordinator of the Visual Communication Design undergraduate program. His professional service activities have included: member of AIGA's Design Educators Community steering committee; editorial board member for the ico-D journal Communication Design: Interdisciplinary and Graphic Design Research; and advisory board member for AIGA’s Dialectic journal. His writings have appeared in numerous publications (via AIGA, Allworth Press, Bloomsbury, de.Mo, Design Issues, Eye (UK), ico-D, Information Design Journal, Princeton Architectural Press), and he has presented at numerous national and international design and education conferences. His design work has been widely recognized in both print and online publications, and he accepts design commissions on a very limited basis.
