His journalism has appeared in outlets like Teen Vogue, Vice, Afropunk, and Catapult, where he covers issues including police violence, state surveillance, and diasporic identity. His debut memoir, When They Tell You To Be Good, was named one of TIME Magazine’s Most Anticipated Books and praised by Publishers Weekly as “a searing account of self-discovery amidst the unyielding weight of structural oppression.” Through his media work and grassroots organizing, Prince Shakur is building a vibrant ecosystem of radical Black storytelling, education, and action.
