Rachel Gruber

The Past
Rachel Gruber is a dedicated and compassionate professional whose career spans military service, frontline nursing, and mental health advocacy. She holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Philosophy and Nursing—a combination that reflects both her analytical mind and her deep care for others. After serving over five years on active duty in the U.S. Army, Rachel transitioned into nursing, where she provided bedside care to patients and families during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Present
Currently, Rachel works with individuals navigating mental health challenges and the criminal justice system, bringing empathy, resilience, and a systems-minded approach to her nursing leadership role. Outside of her professional life, Rachel is a proud wife and mother of three. In her rare moments of free time, she finds joy in folding laundry with all the socks right side out, reading a wide range of books, working out, finding deals in the thrift stores, and going on hikes with her family. Her life is wonderful chaos, balanced through grace, humor, and a strong cup of coffee.
The Future
Rachel Gruber is excited to help build The Praxium Learning Foundation, a space where curiosity, collaboration, and community can thrive. She believes that hope for the future grows from seeds of connection—planted in relationships, nurtured by shared learning, and strengthened through collective action. While hope can be fragile, Rachel sees it as a thread that, when woven throughout a community, becomes resilient and enduring. She looks forward to the journey ahead, embracing the opportunities for growth, dialogue, and meaningful impact that The Praxium Learning Foundation will make possible. She invites others to join in—bring your questions, your ideas, and your hopes—and help shape a future rooted in connection and possibility.
