Ruby Castilla-Puentes, MD, DrPH, MBA

A Colombian-born psychiatrist, she served as President of the American Society of Hispanic Psychiatry (ASHP) for 2020-2022. She is co-founder and president of the organization WARMI (woman in Quechua-Aymara language), dedicated to improving mental health support networks for women in Latin America. Her latest book Psiquiatria Hispana: una guía para los clínicos (Hispanic Psychiatry: a guide for clinicians) is a contribution to the community, which seeks to improve the care of Hispanic patients in the United States.
