Brief background
I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Nataly—a mother of two, a wife, a creative designer, and a bilingual birth and postpartum doula. Long before I had children of my own, I dreamed of becoming a mother. That journey has been nothing short of transformative—beautiful, challenging, and deeply meaningful. It’s shaped who I am and fuels my passion for supporting others through their own parenting journeys. Whether you’re welcoming your first child or your fifth, you deserve to be supported, celebrated, and surrounded by compassion every step of the way. This belief is what led me to become a doula. My role is to provide evidence-based information and compassionate, nonjudgmental support, empowering you and your family to make the choices that feel right for you. I honor your unique preferences and needs throughout this deeply personal journey.
What is a doula?
A doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical, and informational support throughout pregnancy, labor, and the early postpartum period. Unlike doctors or midwives, doulas do not provide medical care — instead, they offer continuous, compassionate support tailored to your unique birth experience. Whether you’re preparing for childbirth or adjusting to life with a newborn, a doula is there to: • Help you feel confident and empowered • Offer comfort measures during labor (like breathing techniques, gentle touch, and positioning) • Provide guidance and reassurance • Support your partner and family • Assist with newborn care and postpartum recovery Many families find that having a doula leads to a more positive, informed, and supported birth journey. *a doula does NOT perform: clinical task (cervical checks, fetal monitoring, administering medications or IVs, diagnose medical conditions, replace medical staff)
The benefits of hiring a doula
Research shows that people who have continuous support during labor are more likely to: • Experience shorter labors • Use less pain medication • Have a lower chance of cesarean birth • Feel more satisfied with their birth experience A doula doesn’t replace your partner or medical team — they complement them. While doctors and nurses focus on your medical care, your doula focuses on you — your comfort, your voice, your experience. Let’s meet and explore what care can look like for you in this beautiful, vulnerable chapter of life.
Why hire a postpartum doula?
The Fourth Trimester Matters Just as Much as Pregnancy and Birth It’s natural—and exciting—to pour energy into preparing for baby: the registry, hospital outfits, newborn photos, the nursery, and all the little details that make the journey special. These moments are joyful and meaningful. The weeks following birth—often called the fourth trimester—are a critical time of healing, bonding, and adjustment. Thoughtfully planning for this period is just as important as preparing for labor and delivery. You deserve care, rest, and support as you recover and transition. As your postpartum doula, I’m here to ensure you feel cared for, nourished, and supported during this important transition. I’ll also provide gentle reminders to eat, hydrate, and rest—because your well-being matters. Support can include: • Holding your baby while you sleep or shower • Bottle and pump prep and sterilization • Infant feeding support (with referrals to trusted lactation professionals if needed)
