Richard Boutwell

I am a visual artist working in photography focused primarily on the natural landscape, land and water use issues in the West, and combining new media, scientific and mapping technology, and appropriated materials with traditional photographic processes. I have taught photography privately since 2014 through workshops and one-on-one instruction, and am the developer of QuadToneProfiler—specialized software for calibrating black and white ink jet printers and creating digital negatives for alternative process printing.
