Richard Byrne

I serve as Associate Pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church. My desire is to see the local church equipped for Christ-exalting discipleship as part of the Great Commission, and the resulting transformation of peoples’ lives through the faithful ministry of God’s word. I have a passion for the people of God to embrace the authority and sufficiency of Scripture in all of life, and especially enjoy introducing people to how the Bible equips us to understand and address common counseling problems, struggles with life dominating sins, and mental health disorder diagnoses. I hold an MABC degree from Central Baptist Theological Seminary, am certified by ACBC, and am a Commissioned Addictions Biblical Counselor with The Addiction Connection.
