Sam Johnson

Sam has been a working musician since around 2005, and is currently based in York, UK. He has collaborated with some of the country’s best new talent, being featured for two consecutive years at Cheltenham Jazz Festival, whilst writing for and leading ‘The Sam Johnson Big Band’. He has continued to write for a number of ensembles as well as Production Music Albums for EMI & Lift Music. Sam has also worked with a number of theatre groups as Musical Director, including orchestration for new musical theatre works and one-off performances.
