🚨 Do you know what United Utilities are planning for the Mystery? 🚨 This massive project won’t fix flooding in the park — and UU admit they can’t even promise it’ll stop flooding on Queen’s Drive. Here’s what’s coming if it goes ahead: 💥 2+ years of noise, dust and disruption. 🚧 Grant Avenue and much of the park fenced off. ⛏️ A 100ft-wide, 100ft-deep hole blasted from solid sandstone. 🚛 8,000 lorry loads of spoil. 🏗️ Permanent scars on the park: a new access road, concrete areas, a kiosk building, and a 17ft vent pipe. 🌳 UU might even dump the spoil on site for “landscaping” — but won’t say what that means. This is a major industrial project in our community park — with no clear benefit and no honest consultation.
