I’m an artist and scholar from Virginia now based in the Bay Area. My work centers on service and meaningful dialogue. I’ve raised millions in philanthropic support for education and nonprofits, manage a boutique consulting firm with my wife, and am currently pursuing studies in religion, philosophy, and ethnomusicology. As a lifelong musician, I compose music rooted in Afghan and diverse musical traditions. One day, I hope to create a community-oriented sanctuary—home to animals, gardens, and a unique space for contemplation and prayer.
