自己と他舎｜self-and-others collective
本グループは、メンバーの一人である片山達貴が企画し、2020 年2 月に京都市中京区のギャラリー「vou」にて開催された展覧会《境界線を遡行する》の出展作家によって結成された。 それぞれの作家は「自己と他者」を主なテーマに作品制作を行なう映像作家／写真家であり、これまでに京都を拠点とした活動のほか、国内外における数多くの展覧会・アートフェア等 に参加している。 都美セレクション グループ展 2023では、美学研究者である藤本流位をキュレーターとして迎える。

📹 片山逹貴 / Tatsuki Katayama
映像作家。つなぎ目という言葉を起点に、自己と他者の境界のあり方を探るようにして制作する。
Video Artist. He explores the boundaries between self and others, starting from the concept of "seams," and creates works based on that exploration.
📸 成田舞 / Mai Narita
写真家。体の内側に潜在しているものと、体の外側に表出しているものとの関係性を写真を通して観察し、記録することを続けている。
Photographer. She observes and documents the relationship between what lies latent within the body and what manifests on its surface through photograph
📸 堀井ヒロツグ / Hirotugu Hori
写真家。社会において周縁化され、見えなくされてきた身体の声にとどまりながら、言葉や制度のはざまで自生する「皮膚の思考」を促そうとする。
Photographer. He seeks to stimulate the "skin's thoughts," which emerge in the interstice between language, institutions, and the voices of bodies that have been marginalized and rendered invisible by society.
📹 チンユウジュウ / Yuju Chen
グラフィックデザイナー／映像作家。異なる言語で翻訳される「記録」と「記憶」や、そこに生じる認識の差について探求し、音や映像媒体などを用いて表象する。
Graphic designer / Video Artist. She investigates the differences in perception that arise from the translation of "history" and "memories"
