Dr. Ahmed Serag is a distinguished AI expert with nearly 20 years of experience, renowned for his contributions to the development and commercialization of AI technologies. He currently leads the AI Innovation Lab, driving groundbreaking research in AI.
Before joining Cornell, Dr. Serag has held prominent leadership roles, including serving as VP Global Director of Data Science and AI Innovation at Novartis, and driving advancements in AI algorithms for cancer diagnostics at Philips. Holding a Ph.D. from Imperial College London, he is a prolific author, keynote speaker, and advisor, dedicated to shaping global standards in AI innovation and its ethical application.
