Sudeep Singh is a distinguished strategic leader and retired Executive Director (Joint Secretary-equivalent) of the Food Corporation of India, where he dedicated 26 years to national service.
With over three decades of high-level expertise, he has guided massive national programs in food security, supply chain management, and institutional governance to safeguard the nation’s essential distribution systems.
During his tenure, he commanded operations of unprecedented scale, managing national food grain stocks valued at nearly Rs 10 trillion while overseeing a combined workforce of over 100,000 personnel.
He was instrumental in directing annual procurement worth Rs 2 trillion, ensuring that over 15 million farmers received fair Minimum Support Price (MSP) access annually through efficient logistical coordination.
A proven crisis manager, Mr. Singh led high-pressure operational commands to maintain an uninterrupted national food supply during the COVID-19 pandemic, preventing critical shortages across India.
He further strengthened institutional transparency and compliance by serving as Secretary to the Board of Directors, providing vital policy support at the Joint Secretary level across various central ministries.
On the global stage, he represented India’s interests at the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva and the International Grains Council (IGC) in London regarding complex public stockholding norms.
His diplomatic efforts involved convening high-level meetings with foreign delegations to foster strategic international partnerships and enhance cooperation within the global food grain markets.
Currently, Mr. Singh serves as an Advisor to the Sakha Group, spearheading its strategic expansion across India and multiple international markets through Sakha Events Management and their cultural associations.
His leadership is backed by an academic foundation including an MBA (Marketing & Finance) and an M.Sc. (Microbiology), blending technical scientific insight with seasoned corporate oversight.
