These portraits are not complete on their own. Each one is part of a system— visible through images, and traceable through words. このシリーズは、ただのビジュアルではない。 顔を通して浮かび上がる構造を、 言葉によって辿っていくもうひとつの肖像群である。

The Unchosen is not a series that records someone. It asks why a face appears to be someone— and quietly reveals the structures of sight, and what has remained unseen. It is not about who is pictured, but why something is made visible at all. The Unchosen は、“誰か”を記録するシリーズではない。 なぜその顔が“もっともらしく”現れたのか。 視線の構造と、見えなかったものを静かに照らし出す試みである。 誰が写っているかではなく、 なぜそれが“見えること”になったのかを問う。

Visual artist, filmmaker, photographer, and director. Working across live-action and CG (AI), I explore visual storytelling as a way to question the structures and systems of visual culture— between what is shown and what is seen. Navigating between documentary and fiction, realism and generation, I observe the moment when structure becomes story, and frame that shift as a question. Straddling the boundary between art and advertising, I continue to examine the visual choices and unseen frameworks that shape our perception.
