Amber for State Delegate 2025
Thank you for supporting my opportunity to have an even bigger impact in the Democratic Party. Talking into the void is great and all, but real change comes from within political parties. Here, you can watch my campaign announcement, read my candidate statement, and register to vote in this important election.
As a State Delegate, I’ll represent our community within the California Democratic Party, voting on party endorsements, platforms, and leadership decisions that shape the future of our state. This election is a chance to make sure our progressive values are heard loud and clear. Together, we can build a more inclusive and equitable future—join me in making it happen!
The Ventura C.A.R.E.S. Policy (Proposed)
The Sanctuary Policy, formally known as the Community Autonomy, Rights, and Equality (CARE) Policy, is a local ordinance designed to safeguard residents from federal overreach that contradicts community values. It prohibits the use of city resources, funds, and personnel to enforce federal laws or policies that target vulnerable groups, such as immigrants, transgender individuals, healthcare providers, and those seeking reproductive care. By prioritizing non-cooperation with unjust federal mandates, the policy ensures that local governments can uphold privacy, dignity, and equity, fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all community members.
