Thomas Baskind

Thomas was born on February 21, 1947, in the vibrant neighborhood of Astoria, Queens, the son of Angela and Haskell Baskind. His academic journey began at St. Francis Prep, from which he graduated in 1964, leading him to Fordham University for his higher education. During his tenure at Fordham, Thomas's journalistic talent was twice recognized through the New York Daily News-Joseph Medill Patterson Scholarship in Journalism.
