Michael Reoch RMT

Michael teaches his courses across Canada and internationally, focusing on pain and the nervous system. This neurocentric approach is person-centred and uses active and passive methods to treat people in pain. It is the foundation of his practice and his teachings today. Michael graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2007. His pursuit of up-to-date research highly influences his practice. His particular interest is helping people who suffer from chronic/persistent and complex pain. In addition, he is interested in learning and teaching about the nervous system's role in how people experience pain. Mike was a clinical instructor at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy for four years and ran their case study program. In addition, Michael chaired a research panel at the 2012 Third International Fascia Research Congress in Vancouver, the RMTBC international Persistent Pain conference in 2014 and the RMTBC Manual Therapy conference in 2016.
