The Grand Sailing Tour is a tailor-made sailing event on the Belle Epoque coasts of the Mediterranean for university students and graduates, following the tradition of the noble students of the 18th century. The most outstanding and for their adventures and literary works more famous of this time of the Grand Tour were the German Johann Wolfgang von Göthe and the English Lord Byron. Göthe discovered Italy with the carriage. Lord Byron already traveled the Mediterranean with a sailing yacht to Albania and Greece.

The Grand Sailing Tour is a sailing and academic project for "noble" students to discover the beautiful coasts of the Belle Epoque with international students and graduates to expand the horizon, sail on large catamarans and to close lifelong friendships and business networks.

CREWING & SUPERVISION OF STUDENTS

On our unique GRAND Sailing TOURS we sail with one to four sailing catamarans in the fleet. We chose a sailing catamaran because of the larger space and the fact that you don't get seasick on a catamaran. Each catamaran is staffed by an experienced and versatile skipper and two experienced supervisors. The supervisors are teachers or university lecturers and professors being representatives of a school or university of their students and act as confidants on board and during excursions on land. Each catamaran is equipped with a media designer for photography and videography to create professional photo collections and cinematic videos for this unique sailing event. The media designer also oversees the photography and videography competitions that are held during sailing cruises and visits to special villas, gardens and landscapes.
